Lead the development of the next-generation ion trap quantum computers and foundational technologies that will enable truly scalable and practical quantum computing. We are looking for AMO experimentalists with skills in operating lasers, optics, UHV systems and electronics, and with knowledge in cavity QED and quantum optics theory.
Researcher (Theoretical)
Research Areas: Quantum Physics, Quantum Optics, Quantum Information Science
Conduct theoretical research regarding ion trap quantum computing while working closely with hardware experts. Focus on qubit gate design, quantum error correction and quantum algorithms for near-term applications.
Engineer (Hardware)
Research Areas: Light fabrication, Microfabrication, Electronics, Hardware control, Software Development, Cloud Computing, UHV and cryogenic tech, FPGA and RFSoC
Provide technical support for the research and development of quantum computers, focusing on developing key hardware components required for quantum computing systems.
Software Engineer (Quantum Systems)
Research Areas: Software Development, control software for hardware integration, FPGA and RFSoC systems
Design, implement and benchmark software stack that powers our ion trap quantum computers. Develop layered software interfaces for hardware control systems, including FPGAs and RFSoC.
